The "Bidirectional Computing and Its Applications" thematic workshop, partially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project "Theories and Frameworks for Trustworthy Development of Ubiquitous Information Systems Based on Bidirectional Computing," was successfully held at the Zhongguancun Garden Hotel of Peking University on December 7-8.
The workshop brought together leading scholars in the field from both China and abroad. Centered on the project's core objective—namely, leveraging the advanced concept of "bidirectional computing" to construct a comprehensive trustworthy development framework spanning from formal theories to engineering practices—the event featured in-depth thematic presentations and academic exchanges. Aimed at establishing a high-level international academic dialogue platform, the workshop provided an opportunity for experts to discuss cutting-edge scientific issues, share interim research findings, and outline prospects and plans for future collaborative research directions.
