The China Computer Society (CCF) award ceremony was recently held at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center. The Society awarded the 2021 CCF-IEEE CS Young Scientist Award to Associate Professor Xiong Yingfei, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to automatic program repair.
The CCF Young Scientist Award was established in 2009 to encourage and commend young scholars in China's computer and related fields who have made outstanding achievements and important contributions in scientific research, and to promote the growth of young scientists. Starting in 2016, the award was jointly established by CCF and the IEEE Computer Society (IEEE-CS), and the title of the award was changed to "CCF-IEEE CS Young Scientist Award". The two parties form a selection committee to select and jointly issue the award certificate. In 2021, only 5 people nationwide won this honor.
